Any Melodica players here who can give advice for a newbie?

Hi all,

I'm getting a melodica in a few days, and I need some advice on playing in terms of echnique, as well as tips on caring for the instrumentt. Are there an people who play the melodica themselves, or people who know some that can give me advice?
